Vibrant News Briefing

Editorial policy

Vibrant News Briefing aims to make visual design easier to discuss: clearly, specifically and without overstating what an image or object can tell us.

Accuracy and interpretation

We check factual statements before publication and separate them from analysis and personal judgment. Design can invite more than one reading, so we avoid presenting subjective responses as universal facts. When a point is uncertain or depends on context, we say so.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for the publication’s readers. A commercial relationship does not determine our conclusions, and any material supplied by a partner is assessed and identified distinctly from independent editorial coverage.

Corrections

Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review specific, actionable reports and correct material when warranted, making the revised wording clear to readers where appropriate.

Partnerships and illustrations

Paid, supplied or collaborative material is labelled so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where this applies, the image is identified accordingly. Illustrations are not presented as documentary evidence.
